Twisters

Twisters pushed the scale and complexity of weather effects well beyond a traditional tornado simulation. Each storm was built from multiple interacting FX layers, including volumetric clouds, rotating dust columns, debris fields, rain, mist, atmospheric effects, vegetation interaction, and large-scale environmental destruction. These elements were combined to create dynamic, physically based weather systems that evolved naturally while remaining fully art-directable. The result was a series of tornadoes with distinct behaviours and visual identities that integrated seamlessly with practical effects to deliver believable, cinematic storm sequences.
